Inverter ESM and Agy-EV series
Inverter ESM series
The ESM are advanced technology Inverters , featured by an extreme easiness of use and by a very good quality/price ratio.
They are available in 18 sizes , from 0,37 kW up to 2,2 kW in single phase version and from 0,37 kW up to 22 kW in three phase version, for output frequencies up to 240 Hz (1000 Hz by request )
Three on-board functions and relatively few parameters make their programming extremely easy.
An EPM module, on purpose designed for this series of Inverter, will store the setting parameters on a programmable chip, placed on the front panel of the unit and easily replaceable in case of a modification.
Inverter Agy-EV series
They are General Purpose Inverters , destined to the speed variation of AC motors , where high starting torques and/or very low speeds are needed.
Available in a big number of sizes , for output power from 30 kW up to 200 Kw (other lower kWs are available by request ), the following versions can be delivered:
1. Agy-EV and 4A , for three phase supply 230 ÷ 480 V , 50/60 Hz , up to 200 kW
2. Agy-EV 5, for three phase supply 575 V , 50/60 Hz, up to 140 kW.
The wide range of options and fittings allows a great flexibility of configurations for different applications.
The Agy-EV Inverters can be interfaced to the following field buses :

The Honeywell NX Series drives have been built on the principles of Software and hardware modularity. The power unit utilises the most sophisticated semiconductor technology, with highly modular construction that can be adapted to a customer's specific requirements.

In designing the b maXX 1000, Baumüller has focused on providing a range that is consistently easy to use. The b maXX 1000 offers an integrated EMC filter as standard, for compliance with the applicable EU standard (EN 55011A/Second Environment).
Numerous protective and overload functions, such as phase failure detection on the line and motorside, ensure error-free operation. Comprehensive control and data management constantly provides a precise overview of the current drive status.
The b maXX 1000 is also equipped for wide-ranging applications, thanks to its 15 different preset speeds. Its adjustable pulse width modulation, from 1 kHz to 15 kHz, also means that it emits barely any noise during operation.
It can achieve a rotating field frequency of between 0.1 Hz and 400 Hz, meaning that even multi-pole machines can be operated in a high speed range.
The b maXX 1000 can be connected to CANopen, the premier open fieldbus system.
It is also able to work as a motion control slave, due to its integrated protocols.

The standard drives support a Safety start inhibit with a safety relais integrated in the frequency converter. A "Safety stop" function can be implemented when this is used in conjunction with an external RC circuit .

Fast switching between inverter IGBTs causes high voltage ramps (> 4.000V/µs) whcih may be even higher in the motor windings. Fast switching also tends to shorten motor life and limits maximum cable lengths.
Using a PREMO dV/dt EMC filter we guarantee the maximum peak voltage will stay under 1.000V/µs, with a dV/dt value < 500V/µs.
Suppressing voltage peaks like this will also reduce EMI interference from the converter, will increase its life and improve its performance.
