EC 750 is a new and unique BLDC motor controller for the growing market of energy saving fans etc. It is also a SENSORLESS controller, so the need for positioning sensors in the EC motors are past….
Compared to traditional Frequency inverters and AC motors, the new
EC 750 and attached BLDC motor can save between 20-30% of energy.
It is a GREEN product that meets new environmental demands around the world. Moreover, EC motors have a flat characteristic, so the moment of inertia is almost constant during the controllable speed range.
EC 750 employs the newest "state of the art" technology within sensorless control of BLDC motors, and will be best suited for environmental demands in the future. Saving energy, saving the planet, saving money …
Motors have to be matched to the controller for optimum performance and energy savings. Motron works together with suppliers of this kind of motors and will support this part as well.
EC 750 comes as a “plug and play” unit. Connect power and motor, analogue control and that’s it! Multiple safety functions makes the controller extremely robust, and the integrated EMC filter ensures CE compatibility.
Also, the EC 750 can be controlled digitally . RS 485 interface and Modbus protocol will deal with that shortly.

Teknic SSt-series Servo Drives, a high-speed DSP control processor controls all of the feedback loops: position, velocity and actual torque. Torque is actively measured and controlled, with losses in the motor effectively minimized. The operation is truly all-digital: the motor currents are converted directly into digital format for the DSP and the outputs to the motor are digital PWM pulse streams-no drift- or noise-prone analog processing is used whatsoever.
The dedicated DSP processor within the SSt servo drive knows, at all times: the state of the position/velocity compensator, the state of the motor's magnetic field, the output voltages of the amplifier, the limit switch inputs, the RMS current in the motor, and numerous other variables. The SSt's proprietary control algorithms are specifically designed to make good use of all this information. The result is superior performance not only in the standard benchmarks (bandwidth, settling time, tracking accuracy), but also in the subjective benchmarks such as quiet jitter-free operation, virtual elimination of overshoot, reduction of torque "chatter", and more. In addition, the DSP's knowledge of the entire state of the servo system enables several unique features. Thousands of hours of computer simulation and experimentation have yielded, among other features: Adaptive Inertia Matching Technology (IMT), Hard-stop homing, fuzzy MoveDone signal false trigger suppression, and continuous current sensor calibration. For more information on these unique features, see the Systems Information section.

The AZS servodrives represent the new line of D.Electron digital drives for brushless, linear, torque motors, asynchronous and defluxed synchronous spindles.
The trasducers supported are
Sin-Cos 1Vpp
EnDat (Absolute)
TTL + Hall sensor
It is possibile to connect the AZS servodrives only with the D.Electron CNC (Z32).
The propietary connection protocol permits to obtain the best motion control performaces, expecially for complex applications like interpolating machine tools.
The complete integration between the AZS servodrives and the Z32 CNC has been developed by D.Electron with the goal of inserting all the motion control algorithms inside the Z32 CNC (not inside the drive hardware). With this innovative solution D.Electron has obtained a drastic reduction of electronic hardware inside thr drives, ease of servicing and rump-up and better reliability.
The AZS servodrives dialogates with the Z32 CNC through the propietary digital protocol "Z-Star". The Z-Star link is realized with optical fibre connection, with a maximum switching frequency of 8KHz and a maximum of 32 digital axes controlled by a single Z32 CNC.
