AvK RANGE: DIG GENERATORS
The AvK generators of series type DIG are the result of an advanced development process in which efficient manufacturing methods as well as many years experience in the applications of such synchronous generators were utilised.
This applies to the mechanical design, electrical characteristics and control engineering properties.
The DIG series was developed with spezial focus on optimum efficiency and high stability as well as a long service life. Furthermore, the mechanical design of the machines was conceived in such a way that the customer has a high degree of flexibility at this disposel in terms of types and types of enclosure.

We design induction and asynchronous generators for decentralised power generation. Our generators are characterised by high efficiency and reliability. Our induction generators are used in gas engines as well as gas and steam turbines.
Their power range is between 400 kVA and 25 MVA at a nominal voltage between 2.3 kV and 13.8 kV (20 kV). We also build low-voltage and high-voltage asynchronous generators for hydroelectric turbines (ten-pole to twenty-pole, 200 kVA-5,000 kVA).

TRANSFORMER CONTROLLED : BCI16 | BCI18
* A range of 4-pole, single or 2-bearing transformer controlled generators designed for very high motor starting loads (450 % for up to 7 seconds) where fine voltage regulation is less critical.
* Engine adaptors to SAE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6, and coupling discs to SAE 61/2, 71/2, 8, 10 & 111/2, are offered on the BCI versions.
* Dedicated adaptors for Lister Petter Alpha and TS/TR engine ranges are available on the BCAI & BCLI.
* Windings are specific to output voltage (single or three phase).
* Voltages available range up to 480 V.
* IP23 enclosure protection is standard.
