The 5.5 series pumps are the first in the March product line to employ an involute design with a closed impeller magnet assembly. They can deliver a maximum flow of 30 GPM (110 LPM), and are capable of serving applications with a maximum head of 41 ft. (9m). Able to handle chemicals of all kinds at temperatures up to 190º F (87º C), uses range from icemakers to film processors and silver recovery systems. Units with Kynar® plastic construction can handle strong halogen solutions and certain chromic or sulfuric acid solutions. Other options for wetted materials include glass filled polypropylene, ceramic, Viton®, and 316 stainless steel. Optional bushings, “O” rings and spindle combinations are
available.

Magnetic drive turbine pumps MDK series
Leakage free, turbine pump
As is common with corrosion resistant pumps, this series uses the magnetic drive method, eliminating all problems caused by liquid leakage. Its pump characteristics include a small flow rate and high head.
Built-in self-priming valve
The inlet side of the pump contains a self-priming valve. Self-priming is actuated quickly after initial priming.
Superior corrosion resistance
The main parts are manufactured from SCS313 or SCS14 stainless cast, allowing the pump to be used for transferring organic solvents and various other chemicals.
|
|
|
Even turbine pumps belong to our product range. The advantages of the magnetic drive system and of high pressures are here combined. While the MDT series is best suited for incorporation in equipment, the MDK series is used as process pump for difficult liquids.

General
Magnetic coupled DICKOW-Pumps of the series PRM according to API 685 are heavy duty sealless pumps. The containment shell forms a closed system to separate the pumped liquid from the atmosphere by confined gaskets.
The equipment (including auxiliaries) is designed and constructed for a minimum service life of 20 years (excluding normal wear parts) and an uninterrupted operation of at least 3 years.
Applications
Magnetic coupled PRM-pumps improve plant and personnel safety and reduce maintenance costs, because 90% of these costs are caused by leaking seals. The PRM-pumps will handle nearly all kinds of liquids in the chemical and petrochemical industry, in refineries and industrial heating plants. Especially liquids which are toxic, flammable, bad smelling or which react on contact with the atmosphere, that means if no leakage is acceptable. For all these services, the containment shell replaces the double acting mechanical seal with its external flushing system and the related control equipment.
|
|
Application
These pumps are used for water supply, irrigation, dewatering. Turbine pumps are particularly suitable for narrow bore holes. Minimum bore hole sizes range from 200mm to 400mm.
