- Flex-bonded polyester tensile cords are vulcanised as one solid unit,increasing the belt’s resistance to tensile and flexing forces.

This is the banded version of the "Source of Savings" Gold Ribbon Cog-Belt combining the longer life, energy savings, and superior operating characteristics of the Gold Ribbon Cog-Belt with the stability of a banded v-belt. The Gold Ribbon Cog-Band prevents belt whip and rollover on long center distance drives. The Gold Ribbon Cog-Band provides excellent service in harsh environments and high shock load situations.

The CONTI SYNCHROCHAIN® - with its newly developed CTD profile, original design and selected materials - ensures reliable power transmission for high torques and for high dynamic stressing. As the first drive belt of this high-performance class it permits reverse flexing in multi-pulley drives and is the optimum alternative to chain drives.

The newly developed CTD profile ensures faultless meshing and hence smooth running at high speeds. At the same time it prevents a jump-over at high torques. So the CONTI SYNCHROCHAIN® is well able to cope with a wide range of requirements. It is suitable for new drive designs and at the same time also compatible for use in existing systems.
