VACUUBRAND diaphragm pumps suppliers are totally oil free, mechanical vacuum pumps supplier. Diaphragm pumps are the efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to water jet pumps. They do not consume water and, therefore, they do not produce contaminated waste water. Diaphragm pumps can be used in a multitude of applications for vacuum generation in laboratories and process plants, such as vacuum filtration, vacuum degasing, vacuum impregnation, vacuum drying chambers, rotary industrial evaporators, distillation, gel professional dryers, gas analytical systems and roughing of wide-range turbo molecular pumps.
Diaphragm pumps offer low ultimate vacuum down to 80 mbar (one-stage pumps), 9 mbar (two-stage pumps), 2 mbar (three-stage pumps) or 0.3 mbar (four-stage pumps). Optimized kinetics for minimum work and wear of the diaphragm result in high reliability, low scuffing, long life and low noise level of the diaphragm. Only selected resistant materials such as FPM (e.g. Viton® fluoroelastomers) and aluminium or PTFE compounds - depending on the version - are used for the gas and vapour contacted parts.

The proper use for rotary vane pumps suppliers XS is in the 1 mbar to 10-3 mbar range. VACUUBRAND oil sealed rotary vane vacuum pumps are high performance, direct drive industrial vacuum pumps of one stage (RE) or two stage type (RZ). With small dimensions and various direct mounted accessories such as industrial separators, full-flow oil industrial filters with maintenance indicator and oil mist filters they are all-rounders in fine vacuum generation. Especially for applications in chemistry laboratories, they offer a high vapour capacity for water and solvents and an active corrosion protection through an oil shut-off circuit, keeping the module under vacuum and stopping corrosives from entering the pumping during non-operation.

The new ILMVAC scroll pumps "Dry Run I and II" are intended
for use as dry-running vacuum power units in the laboratory and in industry.
The scroll pumping can be operated either as a single pump or in pump
combinations. The ILMVAC DRY Run I and II have been conceived and developed as truly chemically resistant dry running pumps. The wetted parts receive as PTFE based proprietary treatment ensuring resistance to most corossive chemicals. However, chemical resistivity tolerance may vary according to the application. The pump has a gas ballast device which also ensures the pumping of vapours up to a defined maximum intake pressure. Should condensate form in the pump body, the unique vertical construction of the pump allows it to flow out of the pressure port easily.
The working pressure ranges from low to high vacuum. The dry running avoids pump oil particles from diffusing back into the suction port of the pump and on into the connected apparatus. The time consuming filling and draining of operating oil is also eliminated, which provides clean handling of the pump.
