Description
The ABS series manufactured by Chain Tail Co, is a spring-applied multi-disc brake that is utilized in automatic hoists, conveyors, cranes and automated storage systems. It functions for the stopping of operations where materials are being transported vertically or horizontally. This apparatus is also called safety brakes due to its tendency to stop a rotating shaft even if power is shut down.
