The SKF LGMT, which is manufactured by SKF, is a mineral oil based, lithium soap thickened grease. It stops occurrences of rusting, and keeps an optimum oxidation stability within its ambient operating temperature that ranges from -3 °C, and up to 120 °C. The material can be used in automotive, and industrial applications such as on cars, trailer wheels, outer bearing ring rotations, propeller shafts, and as well as vertical shafts.
