Description

TB series
Takes your application to a new level with our iron core motors
The high-end TB motor series are heavy-duty workhorses that combine high acceleration and speed, sub-micron positioning accuracy, and low power consumption with a superb force density.

The high-end TB motor series are heavy-duty workhorses that combine high acceleration and speed, sub-micron positioning accuracy, and low power consumption with superb force density.
They excel in applications where high loads and long duty cycles are the order of the day. When you require a motor that takes your application to new levels, the TB more than delivers.

Force
  • Ultimate force: 1800 – 4500 N
  • Peak force: 1600 – 4000 N
  • Continuous force: 760 – 1900 N
  • Coil Units: TB12 – TB15 – TB18 – TB24 – TB30
  • Magnet Plates: TB192 – TB288
  • Optional Digital Hall Module: 3 digital outputs, supply 4.5–28 Vdc
  • Optional Analog Hall Module: magnet-track based scale, supply 5 Vdc
  • Deliverables: spec sheets, drawings, brochure, manuals, CAD files

Key features
  • High acceleration and speed
  • Sub-micron positioning accuracy
  • Low power consumption
  • High force density
  • Suitable for high loads and long duty cycles

Modules & options
  • Digital Hall Module (optional): 3 digital outputs (120° shift) for electrical angle detection; useful when commutation is not handled by the servo drive. Supply: 4.5–28 Vdc.
  • Analog Hall Module (optional): uses magnet track as linear scale; easily mounted on iron-core motors and compatible with standard servo controllers. Supply: 5 Vdc.

Applications
Tecnotion direct drive motors are integrated into semiconductor, display, scientific and aerospace, machine tooling, digital cutting, printing, robotics, life science, woodworking, stages and vacuum applications.
