Description

TBW series
Water cooled to reach even higher continuous forces
It features a fully integrated, highly efficient cooling system that enables the TBW to reach even higher continuous forces than the standard version and sustain extreme accelerations while maintaining its sub-micron position accuracy.

Iron core motor TBW series
The TBW iron core linear motor series is the water cooled variant of the TB series. It features a fully integrated, highly efficient cooling system that enables the TBW to reach even higher continuous forces than the standard version and sustain extreme accelerations while maintaining its sub-micron position accuracy.
Since heat is not dissipated into the machine´s construction, it is especially suited for applications where thermal management is an issue.

Force
  • Ultimate force: 2700 – 6750 N
  • Peak force: 2400 – 6000 N
  • Continuous force watercooled: 1200 – 3000 N
  • Continuous force aircooled: 1140 – 2850 N
  • Coil Units: TBW18 – TBW30 – TBW45
  • Magnet Plates: TB192 – TB288
  • Coupling: supports coupling of iron core motors to increase available force
  • Optional commutation: Digital Hall Module (4.5–28 Vdc) and Analog Hall Module (5 Vdc)
  • Typical applications: semiconductor equipment, machine tooling, robotics, display and printing systems, vacuum and clean applications

Applications
  • Semiconductors
  • Display
  • Science and aerospace
  • Machine tooling
  • Digital cutting
  • Printing
  • Robotics
  • Life science
  • Woodworking
  • Stages and system solutions
  • Vacuum applications
  • and more

Optional modules
  • Digital Hall Module: provides 3 digital outputs phase shifted 120° to determine electrical angle; requires 4.5 to 28 Vdc supply.
  • Analog Hall Module: uses the magnet track as linear scale, easily mounted on iron core motors; requires standard 5 Vdc supply.
