TM seriesCompact iron core motors for low cost of ownership
This motor is very versatile, reliable and efficient for a wide range of applications that do not require high forces.
Iron core motor TM seriesFor applications that do not require high forces, it is often more effective to use a smaller and less costly motor. Over the years, the TM series has proven to be a very versatile, reliable and efficient motor for a wide range of applications.
To enhance its effectiveness, the TM linear motor is equipped with a long flexible servo cable which makes the use of additional connectors superfluous and reduces total cost of ownership even further.

- Peak force: 105 – 630 N
- Continuous force: 60 – 360 N
- Coil Units: TM3 – TM6 – TM12 – TM18
- Magnet Plates: TM96 – TM144 – TM384
- Standard: long flexible servo cable to reduce connectors and lower total cost of ownership
- Optional Digital Hall Module: 4.5–28 Vdc (commutation outputs)
- Optional Analog Hall Module: 5 Vdc (magnet-track based positioning)
Properties- Standard long flexible servo cable to eliminate extra connectors and reduce installation time and cost.
- Compact footprint suitable for constrained machine designs.
- Optimised for efficiency and repeatable performance in medium-load applications.
ApplicationsTecnotion direct-drive TM series motors are integrated into systems for semiconductors, machine tools, robotics, display manufacturing, digital cutting and printing, and more.
Positioning / commutation modules (optional)- Digital Hall Module: Provides three digital outputs (phase shifted 120°) to determine electrical angle between coils and magnets; supply 4.5–28 Vdc. Used for commutation when the drive cannot provide internal commutation.
- Analog Hall Module: Uses the magnet track as a linear scale for cost-effective positioning; standard 5 Vdc supply. Suitable when a simple, encoder-free position reference is required.
