Torsionally rigid couplings | Choosing the Right Mechanical Coupling
Torsionally rigid couplings are suitable for compensating for misalignment and transmitting high torques. This category includes Oldham couplings, disc couplings, membrane couplings, chain couplings, gear couplings, and bellows couplings. Torque is transmitted through rigid welded elements. For this reason, these couplings cannot absorb torque variations. Torsional rigidity, usually expressed in Nm/rad, indicates the resistance of a coupling to torsion.

GN 2246

Torque: 0 Nm - 3.5 Nm
Rotational speed: 0 rpm - 52,000 rpm

... -Beam couplings GN 2246 transmit angle positions and torques with extreme precision and no backlash. They are manufactured of a single piece and offer high torsional stiffness thanks to the alternating slits. The clamping hubs make beam ...
