Overview
The Crest WSL is a high-precision slitter rewinder and optional inline laminator engineered for tension-sensitive converting of flexible films, specialty foams and laminates. It integrates pneumatic circular slitting, loop-controlled center winding and an advanced inline lamination station to enable single-pass and dual-pass workflows while preventing material deformation and telescoping.

Process flow (dual-pass example)

• PASS 1: Foam Activation & Adhesive Coating — unwinds specialty foam, applies inline Corona treatment to activate the surface, then laminates a high-tack adhesive under precise nip pressure for a durable bond.
• PASS 2: Plastic Backing Application — the laminated adhesive foam from Pass 1 is fed back in; the plastic backing is applied (Corona off) and pneumatic circular knives slit the final laminate to customer-specified widths.
