Product overview
The Wilo-Helix V is a highly efficient, vertical multistage in-line pump designed for high efficiency and long service life. It features IE3/IE4 motors and corrosion-resistant hydraulics. The pump is configurable and suitable for applications ranging from water supply and pressure boosting to cooling technology and demanding industrial uses. It can be approved for drinking water when EPDM gaskets are selected and is designed for easy maintenance.

Design
Non-self-priming, high-efficiency multistage centrifugal pump in vertical in-line design with in-line connections. Corrosion-resistant impellers, guide vanes and stage housings. Available in multiple material combinations for different media and operating conditions.

Materials (examples and combinations)

• Helix V 2, 4, 6, 10, 16 – Material combination 1: Impellers/stage housings/guide vanes 1.4307 (AISI 304L), pump housing 1.4301 (AISI 304). Baseplate and lantern: cataphoretic-coated EN-GJL 250. Shaft: 1.4301 or 1.4462 (depending on version). Sleeve under mechanical seal: 1.4404 (AISI 316L). O-ring: EPDM (FKM on request). Jacket pipe: 1.4301.
• Material combination 2: Impellers/stage housings/guide vanes 1.4404 (AISI 316L), pump housing 1.4404 (AISI 316L), shaft 1.4404 or 1.4462, sleeve 1.4404, O-ring FKM (EPDM on request).
• Helix V 22, 36, 52, 80, 105 – variants with loose flanges, cast stainless housings and alternative shaft materials (detailed material combos per size/series available).

Construction / Options

• Various mechanical seal types for application adaptation (porous silicon carbide Q7Q7 for water-glycol cooling applications, tungsten carbide/silicon carbide UQ for pure water applications with low conductivity)
• Victaulic or Tri-clamp connections available for certain sizes
• Silicone-free versions, ATEX versions available on request
• Motor customisations: overpowered motors, IE4 motors, PTC sensors, reinforced external corrosion protection, canopy, anti-condensation heating, special RAL colours, etc.
