Description

The CVT™ PTFE needle valve has a simple design consisting of only seven components and one PTFE O-ring. This needle valve operates with a maximum pressure of 75 psig or 517 kPa, and at a maximum temperature of 150°F or 65°C. This device is constructed with PTFE material for fluids contact, and a valve spindle made in rigid CTFE. The valve spindles reduce undesirable material from PTFE. In addition, the shell made of black anodized aluminum or 316 stainless steel, bushing plated brass and a phenolic knob-adjusted are the non-fluid contacting materials used for the device. The PTFE needle valves are suitable for laboratory and industrial applications. It regulates corrosive gases and liquids for high pressure applications. These valves may also be utilized as shut off valves.
