Overview
The Sorensen Asterion line from AMETEK Programmable Power is a single-channel programmable DC power platform offered in 1.7 kW, 3.4 kW, 5 kW and 10 kW ratings. Available in fixed-range and autoranging variants, the Asterion Series provides flexible voltage and current configurations for a wide range of industrial and laboratory DC test applications.

Control and Interfaces
Operation is available from the front-panel touchscreen or remotely via Ethernet (LXI), USB and RS-232 (standard); GPIB is optional. The touchscreen provides dashboard, output programming, measurements, sequencing, applications and system settings. Parameter entry uses the touchscreen or encoder; dynamic rate-change algorithms enable fine resolution and fast sweeps.
