Overview
The Sorensen SGX Series programmable modular DC power supplies deliver very high power density and scalable configurations for demanding industrial and test applications. Each 3U chassis accepts one to six 5 kW modules to provide 5 kW–30 kW per chassis; a 15 kW configuration supports outputs down to 20 V in a 3U form factor. Up to sixty-five 15 kW units can be paralleled for a combined system output up to 975 kW. The front air intake and stackable design enable dense rack installations without clearance between units.

Advanced Intelligent Control
Operation is via an intuitive front-panel touchscreen and encoder selector for rapid access to programming, sequencing and measurements. A dynamic rate-change algorithm provides fine control for small adjustments and fast sweeps across the full range. Standard control interfaces include LXI Ethernet and RS232; optional GPIB and isolated analog control are available for system integration.
