The HART/USB converter is designed for communication and data exchange with Aplisens pressure, differential pressure transmitters, level probes and temperature transducers with a 4…20 mA output signal and the Hart protocol, and for configuring the APIS electropneumatic positioner. The Hart/USB converter allows you to connect the device to a PC - with wires (with a computer with a USB connector) or wireless (with a computer or other device equipped with a Bluetooth interface). Detailed hardware requirements for converter-to-computer connections are provided in the Hart/USB Converter User Manual. The device, connected to the computer via a converter, is operated by the Aplisens Report 2 configuration software or other programs using the EDDL and DTM libraries. For wireless communication using devices equipped with the Android operating system, the Aplisens Mobile Configurator application is dedicated.
