Presentation JUPITER Solaris fermenters/bioreactors are available in four capacities and geometries (2, 4, 6.5 and 10 L). The vessel is a double‑walled (jacketed) borosilicate glass vessel with a removable jacket to facilitate cleaning and improve heat transfer during autoclaving. Jacket temperature control is provided via a circulating bath or optional chiller. 2 L and 4 L versions can be supplied with pressure control up to 1.6 bar (with continuous gas inlet and outlet flow).
Use and applications JUPITER fermenters are suitable for fermentation studies and bacterial cultures (aerobic and anaerobic), cell culture, teaching, and process development/scale‑up. They support batch, fed‑batch and continuous modes. The systems are highly customizable through a wide range of accessories and optional probes.
Standard equipment Supplied with a control panel running Leonardo 3.2 software, four fixed‑speed peristaltic pumps (replaceable with optional variable‑speed pumps), tubing, valves, agitation assembly with selectable impeller, selectable sparger and a borosilicate glass vessel in the chosen size. Standard digital sensors for pH, temperature and dissolved oxygen (dO2) are included.
Video Demonstration and product technical videos are embedded on the product page.
Available models - JUPITER 2.0 (code JPTST2.0) – 2 L jacketed vessel, D/H ratio 1:3; pressure‑control version available (code JPTPC2.0).
- JUPITER 4.0 (code JPTST4.0) – 4 L jacketed vessel, D/H ratio 1:3; pressure‑control version available (code JPTPC4.0).
- JUPITER 6.5 (code JPTST6.5) – 6.5 L jacketed vessel, D/H ratio 1:2.5.
- JUPITER 10.0 (code JPTST10.0) – 10 L jacketed vessel, D/H ratio 1:3.
Accessories and main options Wide range of optional accessories and digital probes (pH, dO2, ORP, conductivity, cell density, dissolved CO2, anti‑foam probes, level probes, sterile sampling systems LEDA, inoculation ports, chillers, peristaltic pumps with various speed options, gas control systems, thermoboxes, weight systems for vessel and feed bottles, etc.). Additional parallel JUPITER units are available (same specifications without PC, monitor and software).
Note The system supports remote operation via tablet, smartphone or PC (QR code scan or dedicated portal) and allows data export in .csv format.
