Presentation
The SOLIBA E is a high-level detector designed for non-explosive areas. The funnel version is specifically engineered for detection of very light bulk powders: an aluminium funnel increases the contact area with the material, improving sensitivity and reliable detection even for very low bulk density products. Ideal for fine, light and poorly cohesive powders.

Principle of operation
Installed inside a silo, hopper or storage cell and suspended on its cable, the SOLIBA E detects the arrival of the bulk pile by tipping (tilt detection). The change in tilt actuates an electrical contact which sends a stop or control signal to the automation (stop filling, alarm, etc.).

Installation and positioning
The trigger point may vary depending on the position of the weight and the fixing point. The weight is adjustable on the cable to set the switching angle. Standard cable is a 3-core 1 mm² cable (neoprene or HR HY); series cable lengths available (examples: 3, 5, 6, 10, 15, 20 m depending on variant). Electrical connection must be watertight and properly insulated; the junction box must not be placed inside the vessel.

Versions and options
Available in standard version for non-explosive areas and in ATEX-certified version (SOLIBA E EX P) for use in dust-explosive atmospheres. Housings and finishes available: copolymer polypropylene, food-grade stainless steel + PP or HR HY for some variants.
