The Libra series of pumps is ideal for the pressure transfer of liquids with a high percentage of suspended solids, resulting from the most common industrial processes (e.g. must, wine lees, beer, fruit juices, dairy products, container residues, etc.). They are also suitable for the transfer of moderately abrasive sludges of civil or industrial origin and as an essential part of the feed for plate filter presses. Reliability and strength are at the core of the project that led to the development of these innovative pumps. A wide range (in terms of materials and flow rates) is available, allowing you to select the pump that best suits your operating requirements. The pump is normally supplied in stand-alone configuration, ready for electrical connection and immediate operation. Alternatively, all piston pumps in the Libra series can be supplied with a separate electrical panel, PLC control and flow modulation inverter. This provides the best possible filling during the feeding phase of the filter press, resulting in an even more compact residual cake. With this solution, it is also possible to manage the operating logic of the pump independently of the filter press itself: if, for example, you have an outdated filter press and are interested in replacing just the feed pump, equipping the Libra pump with its own electrical panel and PLC you can take advantage of the benefits of this technology without changing the filter press as well.
