A heavy-duty, adjustable twin‑ram pit jack designed for commercial vehicle inspection pits and test lanes. It provides safe, accurate lifting and positioning of HGV and PSV vehicles with ergonomic handling and multiple safety systems.

Specification details

• Beam: Covering pit widths from 750 mm - 1400 mm. See size range above for the most suitable frame size.
• Wheels: Beam moves on four wheels fitted with needle roller bearings for ease of movement up and down the pit. Parallel wheels are fitted as standard to suit flat angle pit edges; tapered wheels are available for use on RSJ supporting rails. Spring-loaded wheels can be provided as an option; these retract under load to lock position.
• Power Pack: High output hand pump delivering the required flow to the cylinders.
• Rams: Two double-acting hydraulic cylinders with a 400 mm stroke. Top-quality chrome-plated rods and modern seal technology ensure long, trouble-free life. Each cylinder is fitted with a safety hose burst valve and a 90-degree movement isolation valve for easy visual confirmation of position.
• Warranty & Compliance: 5 year warranty (terms apply). Designed and manufactured in accordance with Machinery Directive 98/37/EC and engineering standard BS EN 1494:2001; complies with EC requirements and LOLER lifting regulations. Each unit is fully tested, marked with a serial number and supplied with a test certificate.
