Description

Overview
The AVL FTIR C50™ is a compact multi-component FTIR gas analyzer for continuous measurement in industrial applications. It is engineered for straightforward operation in harsh environments. The integrated low-drift FTIR spectrometer ships with a long-term stable factory calibration and typically requires only a zero-gas adjustment before measurement. No operational gases or liquid nitrogen are required, making the system suitable for long-term, unattended measurement tasks.

Key Capabilities
  • Simultaneous, highly dynamic measurement of multiple exhaust and process gas components within a single gas cell (no time alignment required).
  • Low-drift FTIR spectrometer with long-term stable factory calibration.
  • Optional integrated 7" display and web-interface for control and monitoring via notebook or smartphone.
  • Air-conditioned variant available for ambient temperatures above 40 °C to ensure reliable operation.
  • Integrated plausibility checks during warm-up and runtime to ensure consistent measurement quality.

Benefits
  • Versatile multi-component analysis that supports both process control and emissions monitoring requirements.
  • Reduced long-term operational costs through stable FTIR calibration and minimal calibration gas needs.
  • Compact, wall-mountable design for space-efficient installation.
  • Minimal operational overhead: no additional operational gases or liquid nitrogen necessary.
  • Faster data interpretation: synchronous measurement of all components in one gas cell eliminates time-alignment processing.

Measurement & Operation
  • Spectrometer resolution: 0.5 cm-1 at 1 Hz data rate.
  • Control: optional 7" display; web-interface access for remote control and monitoring.
  • Configurable measuring ranges and selectable gas components to match application requirements.
  • Integrated plausibility checks and low-drift FTIR reduce required operational interventions.
