Product OverviewThe AVL PA-FID C50™ is a portable Flame Ionization Detector (FID) analyzer for monitoring total organic carbon (TOC) emissions in process plants, emission testing and laboratories. It combines lightweight construction with a design that minimises external supply gas needs (ambient air and H2). The analyzer is available as a portable unit with a front panel for local operation or as a 19" rack unit without front panel.
Designed for portable field use where sample points are difficult to access (e.g. QAL 2 and AST applications). The device reduces operating gas consumption and maintenance needs to lower running costs in routine monitoring campaigns.
Key Benefits- Flexibility: Compact, lightweight and easy to transport; requires only ambient air and hydrogen as supply gases.
- Robust operation: Performs across a wide range of ambient temperatures with negligible oxygen cross sensitivity.
- Serviceability: Modular construction and accessible components enable fast maintenance by operators.
- Certification pathway: QAL 1 certification in progress (suitable for QAL 2 or Annual Surveillance Tests once certified).
SpecificationsThe AVL PA-FID C50TM is available as a portable Flame Ionization Detector (FID) with a front panel for local operation and as a 19” rack analyzer without front panel.
Measurements can be performed over a wide range of ambient temperature conditions with a neglectable oxygen cross sensitivity and a minimum of required supply gases. Thanks to the QAL1 certification, the PA-FID C50 can be used in various applications like waste incineration or power plants.
