OverviewThe AVL IRD C50™ is an NDIR/NDUV multi-gas analyzer for continuous and periodic measurement of up to seven gas components from combustion, industrial processes and power generators. Compact and lightweight, it uses highly stable miniaturized LEDs to achieve detection limits down to the ppb level. The optical path contains no mechanical moving parts, improving robustness and reducing maintenance. An optional electrochemical detector (ECD) is available for precise O2 measurement. The analyzer is offered as a portable stand-alone unit (PA-IRD C50) with edge protection and an ergonomic handle, and as a 19-inch rack unit for integration into continuous emission monitoring systems.
Benefits- Multi-component capability: simultaneous measurement of several gas species with dedicated IR and UV channels.
- Low detection limits: miniaturized LED light sources enable measurements down to the ppb range.
- Low maintenance and high reliability: optical design without moving parts reduces downtime and increases resistance to vibration.
- Flexible deployment: portable model for field use and 19-inch rack version for permanent installations.
Applications- Continuous and periodic gas analysis for combustion exhaust
- Industrial process monitoring and emissions control
- Power generator emissions monitoring
- Portable/temporary field measurements and site surveys
- Research and laboratory multi-gas measurements
