Overview
The SATO-220 is an open-head orbital weld head designed for precision TIG welding of tubes and pipe assemblies. The open-head design provides access for TIG torches on assemblies where closed heads cannot be used. Rental options and multimedia resources are available.

The SATO-220 supports two-axis torch adjustment and precise axial electrode alignment via a starwheel. A mark-free roller tracking system maintains constant arc voltage without scratching the tube. The head is compatible with water/liquid cooling and intended for industrial pipe fabrication across a range of diameters.
