Description

TE Cooled CCD Spectrometer The Glacier® X is a TE Cooled spectrometer with high dynamic range, significantly reduced dark counts, and superior long-term operation stability, making it ideal for low light level detection and long-term monitoring applications. The compact size of the Glacier X TE-cooled spectrometer makes it the perfect solution for applications that require high performance and portability. It is equipped with a 2048 element linear CCD array, built-in 16-bit digitizer, and high-speed USB 2.0 interface. Compared to non-cooled CCD spectrometers, the Glacier X miniature spectrometer offers higher dynamic range, significantly reduced dark counts, and superior baseline stability, making it the ideal spectrometer for low light level detection and long-term monitoring applications. The combined temperature cooling and regulation, together with its compact form factor makes the Glacier TE Cooled spectrometer a favorite choice of OEM system integrators. The TE cooling makes it possible for weak signals, such as fluorescence and Raman, to be integrated for sufficient time to accumulate measurable signals for detection, resulting in a far superior signal-to-noise ratio. The Glacier® X is ideal for most UV, Vis, and NIR applications with spectral configurations from 200nm to 1050nm and resolutions between 0.2nm and 4.5nm. Custom configurations are available for OEM applications. Applications: UV, Vis, and NIR: Spectroscopy / Spectroradiometry / Spectrophotometry Transmission, Reflection, Absorption Fluorescence Spectroscopy Wavelength Identification OEM Systems Integration Available accessories include • Light sources • Fiber optic probes
