All our compressors are available as Direct Drive 1:1. The 1:1 drive means the airend and motor are directly coupled, eliminating transmission losses. KOMPBERG® Direct Drive screw compressors provide high efficiency through low-speed operation. The drive motor and airend are matched to operate at the same low speed, allowing a maintenance-free coupling and avoiding gearbox losses. The Direct Drive design reduces component count versus geared drives, increasing reliability and service life while lowering sound levels. The airend of each KOMPBERG® BSDF model is specifically designed to meet air demand and ensure efficient performance at low speed.
