Description
CNC hot wire cutter for large-format foams. The MAMMUT is designed for cutting EPS (expanded polystyrene), XPS (extruded polystyrene) and rigid foam with an accuracy of +/-0.03 mm. A direct evolution of the Infinity model, it is modular and expandable with a standard cutting area of X = 3,020 mm × Y = 1,250 mm, expandable to 4,500 mm or 6,000 mm with modular structure. Suitable for both industrial and craft productions: 3D letters and signs, insulating panels, molds, prefabricated elements and large-volume set pieces.

MAMMUT Cutter Equipment
Expandable cutting area for blocks of any format with four sliding, pneumatically locking mobile boards and rollers for loading large polystyrene blocks. Automatic wire tensioning system with tilt for conical and tapered shapes. Titanium cutting wire available (0.25–0.50 mm selectable). Microprocessor temperature control for constant wire temperature. Axis travel accuracy guaranteed at +/-0.03 mm with axis speed up to 25 m/min. Nettuno Docker Cam operator interface with 3D preview and Corel Draw license included; portable handheld controller for operation from any point in the work area.

Construction and Engineering
Steel structure with flattened and machined profiles milled for rigidity and stability. Overall dimensions: 6,500 × 3,500 × 2,000 mm. Transmission: X axis rack-and-pinion + double linear guides; Y axis rolling screws + double linear guides. Brushless servomotors with absolute encoders. Power consumption 2 kW / 10 kW depending on configuration.
