Short description
This gas-tight stainless steel drum pump is designed for the safe, odour-free transfer of aggressive, volatile and flammable liquids. It is made from chemical-resistant materials (stainless steel 1.4301 / AISI 304, PTFE) and features an integrated gas-tight drum screw connection and a vapour recovery system to prevent vapour escape during transfer.

Main functional description
Two ball valves enable the liquid and vapour paths to be fully closed, offering maximum control and safety during filling. The vapour recovery system returns vapours from the receiving container back to the original container using the vapour-shuttle / vapour pendulum principle, preventing vapour escape into the environment.

Typical applications
These pumps are used where outgassing or odour-intensive liquids must be transferred safely and cleanly — e.g. laboratories, production areas and warehouses prioritising emission protection and occupational safety.

Drive and pump type
The pump is manually operated and works as a reciprocating piston pump (hand-operated drive).

Safety note
Caution: When handling flammable or highly flammable liquids, explosion protection guidelines must be observed. All parts must be earthed (for example by using an anti-static/earthing set). The pump is not suitable for acetone or similar drying solvents.
