Standard viewing ports and windowsFor ovens up to 700°C several standard viewing port and window options are available. For non-gas-tight ovens cable ports with 6, 36 or 48 mm diameter may be fitted in the side wall and windows can be fitted in the oven door where applicable. For most standard chamber furnaces up to 1800°C viewing ports fitted on the back wall or furnace roof are available on request.
Quartz glass windows up to 1100°CQuartz glass windows can be supplied for tube furnaces and other applicable furnace types up to 1100°C on request, offering optical access in high-temperature zones.
Thermocouple and viewing portsViewing ports may be fitted to furnace doors for most chamber furnaces up to 1800°C, with or without quartz windows depending on size. Thermocouples can be installed through the rear wall of many chamber furnaces; calibration ports are also available to support process validation.
Sliding thermocouples up to 1500°CThe sliding thermocouple is a standard option for pyrometer-controlled vacuum chamber furnaces. It is positioned in the hot zone to provide accurate measurement and control up to 1500°C and automatically retracts above 1500°C so the pyrometer assumes temperature measurement.
Pyrometers up to 3000°CPyrometers are fitted as standard for vacuum chamber furnaces above 2200°C for temperature control. For other furnace types, pyrometers can be fitted on request to extend non-contact measurement capability up to 3000°C.
Examples- Custom split tensile test furnace with quartz viewing window up to 1100°C
- Standard PN 30 oven up to 300°C with optional exhaust fan, viewing window and interior light
- Viewing port centered in the vertical lift door of a 1700°C HTF 17/25 furnace
- CAF G5 furnace for ash fusibility testing to 1600°C fitted with a digital camera for automated imaging
- Sliding thermocouple for accurate control below 1500°C when a pyrometer provides high-temperature measurement
- Pyrometer used for temperature control up to 3000°C in vacuum chamber furnaces
