Description
The ZOC Series Micro Magnetic Particle Clutches are powder clutches that can be used with the sustained slip, however as the slip generates heat this leads to the increase of temperature in the clutch. This requires each device to be tested for maximum allowed continuous slip rate, that must be maintained during operation. Several additional factors can also affect the continuous slip rate, such as forced-air cooling. Note that rates generally shown on the unit casing, can be affected by natural cooling and input turning speed, causing the rate to vary from displayed values.
