Product overview
Cobra® PA6.6 (PA66) nylon cable ties manufactured in Italy by Cieffeplast. Available in natural (translucent) and black (UV-stabilized) versions. Natural recommended for indoor use; black recommended for outdoor or exposed installations. Pawl-and-rack system with pre-coupling tooth permits repositioning before final tensioning. Manual installation is straightforward; calibrate powered tools to avoid over-stressing the tie. Tested and certified to UL 62275 (Certificate No. E468944). Operating temperature range: -40°C to +85°C. Flame rating: UL94 V-2.

Chemical resistance
Resists bases, oils, greases, soaps, detergents, petroleum products, chlorinated solvents and alcohols. Limited resistance to acids. Not resistant to phenols. For acid-resistant applications select polypropylene (PP) variants. Halogen-free options available on request.

Installation

• Wrap the tie around the cable bundle with the knurled surface facing inward and the smooth surface outward.
• Insert the tail into the head until the pre-coupling tooth engages (allows repositioning if lightly engaged).
• Pull firmly until fully closed and trim excess tail flush with the head using side-cutting pliers or a cable tie tool.
• When using powered installation tools, calibrate tension to the specific tie size to avoid over-stressing.
• Do not use on body parts.
