Overview
Cobra® Type 3 identification cable ties feature the largest integrated marker plate in the Cobra® range: a 13 × 28 mm writable tag positioned under the head (against the bundle surface when installed). The increased tag area accommodates multi-line text references, sequential asset numbers, printed barcodes or QR codes for asset management systems. Wiring cable ties are made of nylon PA6.6 in natural colour. The hooking system between the pawl and the rack permits fixing of various diameters. The marker plate surface can be written with a marker pen.

When to choose Type 3
Type 3 is the appropriate choice when the identification content exceeds the tag space available on Type 1 (25.4 × 8 mm) or Type 2 (20.4 × 9 mm) — for example, when recording circuit reference plus panel number plus revision code, or when applying a printed barcode of sufficient density for scanner reading.
