Overview
The CLIMAX FF1200 OD Mount Flange Facer is designed for safe field flange facing and flexible on-site machining. It machines flanges up to 12.5 in (317.5 mm) diameter without attachments and is intended for oil, gas and chemical field applications where precision and throughput are required.

  • Automatic and variable feed standard on both radial and axial feeds enabling up to 30% time savings versus conventional methods.
  • Adjust feed rate during machining; start/stop feed during operation to machine to a shoulder; supports higher RPM and improved surface finish.
  • Tool head and tool bit rotate independently to any angle; tool head presets at 0°, 23°, and -23°.
• Design and serviceability:
  • No broken shear pin required after a crash — reset and continue work.
  • Chucking mechanism and bearing arrangement provide rigidity for consistent machining performance.
  • Smooth-running rotational drive for consistent surface finish.
