Overview
Conair’s ATC Series dual-spindle coilers perform tensionless winding of small flexible extrusions, minimizing friction and eliminating deformation. Designed for applications such as flexible tubing, medical tubing, filled cords and small flexible profiles, the ATC Series enables fully automated transfer to a new reel without operator intervention.

Key Features

• Servo-driven precision: Spindle rotation, traverse motion and spindle speed are servo controlled for accurate positioning and repeatable tension control during high-speed coiling and cut/transfer cycles. Finished spools require no manual dial-in at product changeover.
• Distortion-free coiling: Advanced control algorithms compute successive wrap diameters and adapt coil speed and traverse to tube size and puller speed, enabling sonic loop control to act as a fine-trim system for accurate, distortion-free lay. Winder ramp-up is synchronized with the production line at startup.
• Recipe storage: All operating parameters (coil speed during cut/transfer, traverse speed, turret speed and more) can be saved as recipes to reduce operator variability and ensure repeatable production.
• Fully automated cut-and-transfer: High-speed, distortion-free coiling combined with automated cut-and-transfer eliminates operator involvement during spool changes.
