Overview
The TrueWeigh™ Hopper TWH series is a loss-in-weight hopper engineered for gravimetric extrusion throughput control. Integrated with the Conair TrueWeigh controller, the hopper measures mass flow into the extruder and provides loss-in-weight data to maintain consistent yield and product uniformity within tight tolerances.

How it works
The hopper continuously measures mass flow (loss-in-weight) and reports to the TrueWeigh controller. The controller uses this feedback to monitor or automatically adjust extruder screw RPM and/or haul-off RPM, maintaining steady throughput and consistent product characteristics.

Ease of installation
Hoppers include a blank extruder sub-plate to match the feed-throat bolt pattern on site: drill the pattern, fasten the sub-plate, and mount the hopper. No additional external support is typically required. Optional custom mounting adapters are available for special installations.

Integral loading support platform
Standard support accepts Conair positive slide gates with vacuum receivers, surge hoppers, stub loaders, or blending equipment. Custom adapters can be supplied for non-Conair loaders.

TrueBlend integration
TrueWeigh hoppers integrate with TrueBlend gravimetric batch blenders for combined extrusion line control. The largest TWH hopper supports a TB900 with loaders without added support.
