DescriptionCompact universal receiver (41 × 31 × 11 mm) compatible with most radio remote controls transmitting between 224 MHz and 868 MHz. Supports AM/OOK and FSK/FM, fixed and rolling codes. Can be programmed to receive one or two frequencies (including different modulations).
Main operationOn reception of a valid code the receiver activates an optoisolator between Switch+ and Switch-, emulating a low‑voltage pushbutton input for an electronic control board (e.g. gate opener). Output is opto‑isolated: max 50 mA, max 40 Vdc. Operating frequency and output behavior are programmable (bistable, hold‑to‑run, timer: 250 ms–60 min). Memory stores up to 1000 remotes (actual number depends on code complexity; e.g. up to ~600 KeeLoq rolling‑code remotes).
Installation and wiring- Connect the two wires marked "Supply" to the power source.
- Connect Switch+ to the positive terminal of the pushbutton input on the controlled board.
- Connect Switch- to the negative terminal of the pushbutton input on the controlled board.
Use a tester to verify the controlled board input voltage is < 40 Vdc and current < 50 mA.
Notes on AC inputsIf the controlled board pushbutton input uses AC, select a receiver variant with relay outputs for AC control (other models available).
Features- Wireless control of electronic boards with low‑voltage DC pushbutton inputs (max 40 V, 50 mA).
- Very compact: 41 × 31 × 11 mm.
- Supply range: 7–36 Vdc or 7–27 Vac; internal DC/DC converter for low consumption.
- Five prewired 20 cm wires for easy wiring: 1 antenna, 2 supply, 2 outputs (Switch+ / Switch-).
- Antenna wire: cut to ~17 cm for 433–434 MHz or ~8 cm for 868 MHz; keep flat, horizontal or vertical.
- User‑selectable frequencies (many presets; some frequencies restricted in the EU).
- Supports OOK (AM) and FSK (FM); FM deviations 12 and 24 kHz; AM with standard and narrow bandwidth.
- Twin‑frequency mode: single or two frequencies/modulations programmable simultaneously.
- Compatible with a wide range of fixed and rolling code remotes; different types may coexist.
- Supports learning via master remotes (remote enabling for 10 s).
Frequencies supported (user‑selectable examples)433.42, 433.92, 434.15, 434.42, 868.3, 868.5, 868.8, 315*, 224.500*, 224.750*, 270*, 280*, 284*, 286*, 287*, 288*, 289*, 290*, 292*, 300*, 302*, 303*, 306*, 310*, 318*, 330*, 340*, 390*, 403.55*, 418* MHz
Note: frequencies marked with * cannot be used inside the EU. Transmitter frequency must be stable; the receiver does not support transmitters without a crystal or SAW resonator (unstable transmitters around ~300 MHz).
Typical applications / use cases- Activate the "start" input of gate, garage door or traffic barrier control boards.
- Control devices originally using obsolete remote frequencies (e.g. 418 MHz, 315 MHz).
- Increase the range of compatible remotes for an existing opener by accepting different brands/models and frequencies.
- Add wireless control to a control board that lacks an integrated RF input.
Learning and programmingProgramming is done with the Prog button. The second receiving frequency and its modulation can be set; the second frequency can be enabled/disabled. Output modes, timers and sensitivity limits are configurable to reduce spurious long‑range triggers.
Packaging and notesManufactured in Europe. Supplied in a transparent resealable recyclable clamshell with printed multilingual instructions. OEM customization available for volume orders.
