Description

TS-2100 Liquid Silicone: wide-format industrial laminator for face mounting with liquid silicone — 2,100 mm working width, high pressure up to 8 N/mm

The Crest TS-2100 Liquid Silicone is a heavy-duty industrial laminator specifically designed for face mounting with liquid silicone adhesive. With a working width of 2,100 mm (83″), high laminating pressure up to 8 N/mm and a heated top roller up to 150 °C, the machine delivers streak-free, silvering-free and bubble-free results — even on large-format and demanding substrates. The TS-2100 Liquid Silicone is the widest standard laminator in the Crest TS series.

Face mounting with liquid silicone is a specialized lamination process used to bond prints, films and substrates to transparent panels such as acrylic (Plexiglas), glass, Dibond and rigid boards. Liquid silicone provides an optically clear, UV-stable and durable bond without the visible edge lines or silvering effects commonly associated with pressure-sensitive adhesive films. The Crest TS-2100 Liquid Silicone is engineered to handle this process with precision and consistency at production-level throughput.

The machine features a chrome-plated top roller and an EPDM rubber bottom roller — a combination that ensures even pressure distribution across the full 2,100 mm width for uniform adhesion without streaks. A paper holder at the front bottom accommodates backing paper on a steel shaft, with a guiding roller that pulls the backing paper from underneath the infeed table. Roller height is adjustable by handwheel.

Why buyers and production managers choose the TS-2100 Liquid Silicone:
  • Purpose-built for face mounting: specifically engineered for liquid silicone lamination, delivering optically clear, bubble-free and silvering-free bonds on transparent and rigid substrates.
  • Widest standard TS laminator: 2,100 mm (83″) working width handles large-format substrates that most competing machines cannot accommodate.
  • High laminating pressure: up to 8 N/mm for consistent adhesion across the full width, even on demanding substrates.
  • Heat assist: heated top roller up to 150 °C for optimized silicone curing and improved adhesion on temperature-responsive materials.
  • Chrome/EPDM roller combination: chrome-plated top roller paired with EPDM rubber bottom roller ensures even pressure distribution and streak-free results.
  • Integrated backing paper management: paper holder with steel shaft and guiding roller for clean, efficient backing paper handling during the face mounting process.
  • Simple, robust operation: roller height adjustment by handwheel, no compressed air required. Built for continuous production use.
  • Versatile application range: face mounting on acrylic, glass, Dibond and rigid boards for sign & display, fine art reproduction, interior design, exhibition graphics, point-of-sale displays and architectural applications.

Also available as the standard TS-2100 (without liquid silicone configuration) and in 1,400 mm and 1,600 mm working widths. Developed and manufactured by Crest Dutch Machinery in Raalte, the Netherlands. ISO 9001 certified. Part of the Crest TS series.
