Description

TS-1600

THE HEAVY DUTY LAMINATOR ENGINEERED FOR UV-PRINTED SUBSTRATES AND DEMANDING OVERLAMINATE APPLICATIONS.
The Crest TS delivers an impressive roller pressure of up to 8N/mm combined with a specially selected rubber compound. This powerful combination completely eliminates the silvering effect (microscopic air enclosures) that often plagues conventional laminators on rough surfaces and UV-curable inkjet prints. Equipped with a smart, rotatable HMI touchscreen and a high-performance 150°C heated top roller, this robust industrial system guarantees flawless lamination quality. Available in 1650mm and 2150mm working widths, the machine operates fully electrically without the need for compressed air.

WHERE DO YOU NEED IT FOR?

01 / UV PRINT FINISHING
PROTECTIVE OVERLAMINATION ON UV-PRINTED SUBSTRATES
Engineered specifically for Print Service Providers (PSPs) and industrial finishers processing high-volume UV-curable inkjet output. The Crest TS seamlessly partners with any UV inkjet printer to apply pressure-sensitive overlaminates flawlessly. Utilizing extreme nip pressure and advanced roller engineering, it eliminates the notorious silvering effect completely, even on rough, textured, or heavily layered UV prints.

02 / TRAFFIC SIGNS
HEAVY DUTY TRAFFIC SIGN LAMINATION
Designed for traffic sign manufacturers and heavy-duty outdoor graphics producers who require ultimate durability. The TS effortlessly processes rigid boards, sheet material, and continuous rolls. By combining extreme high pressure with a precise, digitally controlled 150°C heated top roller, it delivers an unbreakable bond. This ensures long-lasting, weather-resistant overlamination capable of surviving years of harsh outdoor exposure.

03 / DECORATIVE PANELS
PREMIUM PANEL AND DECORATIVE FINISHING
The ultimate solution for decorative panel producers lamination finishing films onto premium rigid substrates. Thanks to the special rubber compound of the rollers and precise pressure readout on the rotatable HMI touchscreen, it guarantees streak-free, bubble-free, and optically clear results. Perfect for high-end applications where flawless surface quality and aesthetic perfection are absolutely non-negotiable.

BUILT FOR DEMANDING LAMINATION
The Crest TS is purpose-built for the most challenging industrial finishing tasks: applying a high-quality protective laminate on top of UV-printed substrates and other demanding materials. Where standard laminators fail and leave silvering, streaks, or quality defects, the TS excels.

Its robust, powder-coated industrial frame , high-performance 150°C heated top roller , heavy-duty unwind brake with wrinkle control , and precision friction-clutch windup are all heavily engineered for continuous daily production at extreme pressures of up to 8N/mm.

The machine effortlessly accepts board, sheet, and roll material across its entire working width. Because it operates entirely without compressed air, it drastically simplifies workplace installation, minimizes maintenance, and significantly reduces overall operating costs.

BEST SUITED FOR
  • UV-printed inkjet output requiring premium protective overlaminates.
  • Pressure-sensitive overlaminates applied to rough, textured, or uneven surfaces.
  • Heavy-duty traffic sign and high-volume outdoor graphics production.
  • Premium decorative panel and industrial finishing film lamination.
  • Rigid boards, sheet material, and continuous rolls processed in heavy industrial volumes.

BUILT FOR HIGH-PRESSURE PRODUCTION

SILVERING-FREE ON UV PRINTS
The combination of exceptional laminating pressure (up to 8N/mm) and a specially selected rubber compound for UV-printed substrates completely eliminates microscopic air enclosures. Where standard machines leave a ‘silvering’ effect that ruins lamination quality, the Crest TS ensures an unbreakable bond and a structurally perfect, crystal-clear surface every single time.

ROBUST INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
Featuring a heavy-duty unwind brake with combined wrinkle control, a precision windup friction clutch, and an ultra-robust industrial frame finished with high-quality powder coating. Every single engineering detail is rated for continuous, demanding daily production. The Crest TS is built specifically for the harsh reality of heavy industrial production environments, not for occasional use.

HMI TOUCHSCREEN & FULL OPERATOR CONTROL
Operates entirely without a compressed air infrastructure, drastically reducing maintenance and simplifying installation. The newly integrated, rotatable HMI Touchscreen control panel allows seamless machine operation from both the front and the rear side. Operators benefit from precise digital readouts of speed, temperature, and roller pressure (adjustable in %, Newton, kg, or lbs), alongside a foot pedal for start/stop control and advanced safety functions. Engineered strictly to optimize operator workflow, not to work against it.
