Overview
The Crest WSL is the high-precision slitter rewinder & laminator for specialty foams and films. Custom-built for tension-sensitive converters executing complex single-pass and multi-pass laminating workflows. It integrates pneumatic circular slitting, loop-controlled center winding and an optional inline lamination station to enable slitting, rewinding and lamination in one platform without material deformation or telescoping.

One platform — dual-pass workflow
PASS 1: Foam Activation & Adhesive Coating
The raw specialty foam is unwound and passed through the Corona Treatment Unit to activate its surface, then a high-tack adhesive layer is laminated under precise nip pressure to guarantee a strong bond.

PASS 2: Plastic Backing Application
The laminated adhesive foam from Pass 1 is fed back into the line; the machine applies the plastic backing film (Corona off) and simultaneously uses pneumatic circular knives to slit the final laminate to customer widths.
