The PP50 follower plate pump is used to pressurize adhesives, sealants or lubricants contained in drums from 18 to 50 kg. The robust structure with double elevator makes it versatile and suitable for the most demanding applications. • No need for decanting, the original drum is completely emptied • Simple, robust and equipped with a trolley for movement • Pressure plate customized for the size of the drum • On request available with minimum level audible or electrical alarm and pump lock device • Pressure reducers with pressure gauge for pressure regulation at the pump and lifting cylinders • Pad to simply remove the air above the product level. OPERATION The PP50 pressure plate pump consists of a base on which a double pneumatic elevator is mounted that raises and lowers the pump and the pressing plate. All movement is controlled by a lever valve located on the upper part of the pump. The pneumatic pump is available in 2 compression ratios, 30:1 and 38:1, and once supplied with compressed air it is able to suck and feed under pressure products even with very high viscosity, contained in drums weighing up to 50kg. The pressing plate is made following the dimensions of the drum (avoiding leakage from the sides of the same) while centering devices and belts make changing the drum simple and very quick. The extremely robust construction makes it suitable for applications even in the harshest environments.
