Product Overview: The DH-PRO-800 is part of Dehard's range of horizontal splitting machines. Robust and efficient, it is specifically designed for firewood producers processing logs with diameters from 8 to 80 cm. Two independent splitting blades in wear-resistant steel perform optimal splitting. A single blade can be commanded to split small round logs with a minimum diameter of 8 cm. Two models designed to adapt to each requirement: - DH-PRO-800-T: Equipped with a feed belt with a double lug chain, this model carries the log towards a saw, which can be: - A chainsaw - A 130 cm circular saw combined with a chainsaw As an option, a hydraulic stop can measure the log and therefore optimise woodscrap management. - DH-PRO-800-P: This model uses a trough on a push-pull rod for greater speed and efficiency. When the end of the log is almost reached, the push-pull rod automatically moves backwards, the trough descends and the next log is put into position while the previous log is still being sawn. This system guarantees that the process operates continuously, reducing downtime. The push-pull rod automatically measures the length of the log, thus optimising woodscrap management. This version is equipped with a 130 cm diameter circular saw combined with a chainsaw.
