The Dieffenbacher Fibercon consolidates tailored blanks into near-net-shape laminates with excellent quality and very low void content. During consolidation, single layers are laminated together under temperature and pressure. Vacuum is used to achieve exceptionally good material properties for high-quality components despite very short cycle times. The Fibercon can be integrated into your overall process as a complementary process line to the Fiberforge system. Variable layup thicknesses and geometries of up to 4 mm can thus be consolidated in very high quality without any inserters or component-specific tools.
