Description

If permanent and, above all, rigid connections are to be realized in hydraulics, piping is used. In our Product of the Month September, we show you the optimization of a customer-specific pipeline. The starting point was a curved pipeline with angles and numerous fittings. The angle used results in a non-optimized flow behavior of the hydraulic oil. In addition, there is an increased risk of leakage due to the screw fittings. Optimization for customer benefit Dietzel Hydraulik optimized by replacing the existing elbow with an extension of the pipeline. A manifold that is firmly welded to the line, including a retaining plate, not only ensures a flow-optimized oil flow, but also has the advantage that no leakage points occur due to screw connections. The retaining plate allows the line to be firmly and stably screwed to the machine and thus withstands vibrations even better. The elimination of additional screw connections also optimizes the total cost of ownership, for example, since only one component needs to be procured, stored and scheduled. In addition, assembly is much easier and can be carried out more quickly, as 4 screw connections are no longer required. In addition, two- or three-dimensionally bent piping, for example, makes it possible to bypass other components within the machine room without any problems.
