Our product of the month August 2023 clearly shows the optimization potential of a customized hose assembly compared to a hose assembly with standard fittings. In the "before version", numerous standard components were connected together by the customer in order to connect the line accordingly. If, on the other hand, one looks at the optimized "after version", the advantages of a customized hose assembly with individual fittings become clear. The numerous fittings were replaced by a 90° fitting, which significantly reduces the risk of leakage. In addition, the installation space of the machine can be better utilized thanks to the optimized design, so that more space is available for other components. Advantages due to bolting detachment In addition to the benefits already mentioned, procurement, warehousing and scheduling processes can also be simplified on the customer side. Instead of many individual parts, only one component needs to be procured. Throughput times in the assembly process are significantly reduced. Significantly fewer bolted connections have to be assembled. The total cost of ownership is optimized.
