Description

Product overview
The volumetric shot valve is designed for contactless, precise and repeatable application of greases and oils. It delivers very small metering volumes at high speed with a metering accuracy better than ±2% and a service life of up to 50 million doses. No leakage with consistent accuracy.

Key benefits
  • Contactless material application with metering accuracy of better than ±2%
  • Dispensing of very small volumes (> 0.001 ml) at very high rates (up to 30 dispenses per second)
  • Up to 50 million identical doses leak-free — longer life than comparable valves
  • Broad portfolio of nozzle sizes and types for maximum flexibility

Precise shot technology
With the volumetric shot valve, lubricants can be applied contactless on all kinds of forms and surfaces in very small quantities with high repeat accuracy. Available shot volume sizes:
  • 0.001 – 0.020 ml
  • 0.005 – 0.048 ml

System simplification
Thanks to the volumetric metering principle, the valve operates virtually independently of fluctuations in temperature, pressure or viscosity. This resistance to fluctuations can often eliminate the need for additional measures such as a second material pressure regulator or temperature control, reducing system components, maintenance costs and potential error sources.

Durability and maintenance
The valve operates in a low-pressure range (material inlet pressure < 13 bar) which reduces stress and wear on sealing and closing elements and on other system components (pressure regulators, feed pumps). This also reduces separation of base oil and thickener in the lubricant during micro-dosing. Wear parts are replaceable in a few simple steps without replacing the entire valve, enabling easy maintenance.

Application flexibility
Various nozzle sizes and types with different shot directions are available, including customer-specific nozzle designs for hard-to-reach areas. The valve is suitable for micro-dosing applications and areas difficult to access.

Options
  • Various nozzle sizes and types with different shot directions
  • Solenoid valve for air drive
  • Heating
  • Stroke detection
