The D300M series toroidal current transducers are designed to be combined with DER3 differential relays. The D300M is used in those applications where it is necessary to set a trip current IΔn > 30A. It introduces a multiplication factor x10 which brings the IΔn calibration range from 0.030A/30A to 0.30A/300A. The transducers must be installed upstream of the line or loads to be protected and monitored. All the active conductors (phase and neutral) of the single-phase or three-phase lines must pass inside. Dossena uses a special magnetic alloy for its toroidal transducers, in doing so, the ferromagnetic core is able to guarantee broad magnetic qualities and detect even very low fault current values. Each Dossena transducer is tested and tested individually through a highly selective computerized system that fully evaluates the quality (total compliance with the technical characteristics) and safety of the product.
