Description

Overview
SE Series 2-passage rotary unions provide two independent fluid passages in a compact rotary interface for applications with high pressure and limited space. Standard models feature side-threaded shaft and housing connections; optional shaft O-ring glands allow face/flush mounting when specified. SE models are designed to integrate with electrical slip rings to combine fluid transfer with electrical power, signal or data transfer.

Operating limits & notes
Suitable water/glycol or coolant media must contain rust inhibitors. Oil/hydraulic media must be petroleum-based. Operational life and minimum torque depend on rotational speed, media and duty cycle. Applications with fluid or ambient temperatures above 220°F (105°C) require alternative seal materials. Use water media above 212°F (100°C) only with appropriate seal materials.
