Overview
DSTI SE Series 8-passage rotary unions provide eight independent fluid passages in a compact rotary joint designed for confined spaces and high-pressure applications. Standard radial threaded connections are supplied on the shaft and housing (SAE-ORB or BSPP options available). Optional axial O-ring face seals allow face/flush mounting when specified. SE Series units are engineered for direct integration with electrical slip rings to enable combined fluid and electrical transfer.

• Applications include Air/Gas, Coolant, Oil/Hydraulic and Water/Glycol (use rust inhibitors for water/glycol; oil/hydraulic media are petroleum-based).

Notes
Minimum torque to rotate is measured at zero pressure using Oil/Hydraulic media (Air/Gas for SPS Series). Required torque may increase with different media or under dry-running conditions. Operational life depends on rotational speed and duty cycle; select seal materials appropriate for temperatures beyond the standard range.
